Who are we and how are we organised?
As a registered charity, Herts Welcomes Refugees has a Trustee Board which is legally responsible for ensuring the organisation’s effectiveness in achieving its charitable purpose and agreed outcomes.
We have a small staff team, led by a Director, who support and enable the work of volunteers across the county, in particular the Management Committee. The Management Committee (made up of volunteers), includes Convenors for each area of Hertfordshire, and meets every month to oversee and co-ordinate activities across the county.
