Display at St Albans Museum + Gallery throughout June

This year the theme of Refugee Week is Our Home.   We are delighted that our display of art and text from refugees we support will be shown at the St Albans Museum + Gallery throughout June.

Our volunteers asked refugees and asylum seekers at our art clubs, conversation groups, homework clubs and other activities what home means to them.   

This display shows their moving responses, what led them to flee their homes and what we can all do to help..

We hope you will visit the St Albans Museum + Gallery during June.  

You can see the display on the railings outside the museum 24/7 and inside from 11am - 5pm daily.  You can also see the four minute digital display above.  

We are so grateful to all those who took part in this project which gives refugees a voice in Hertfordshire, encourages empathy for their situation, and showcases both their work and ours supporting them.
