Visions of Home​

In 2024 the theme of Refugee Week was Our Home.   We were delighted that our display of art and text from refugees we support was shown at the St Albans Museum + Gallery throughout June.

Our volunteers asked refugees and asylum seekers at our art clubs, conversation groups, homework clubs and other activities what home means to them.   

This display shows their moving responses, what led them to flee their homes and what we can all do to help..

We are so grateful to all those who took part in this project which gives refugees a voice in Hertfordshire, encourages empathy for their situation, and showcases both their work and ours supporting them.
